Dear Students,
Welcome to our new blog. Here, you will be able to post your comments, opinion and remarks any time you need. You will have to do some assignments when you are asked. You can ask any questions and you can reply to questions asked. This is the place where you can practise your English without hesitating.
Let's start our blog with some fun. You all know the names of the animals in English, but are you quick at doing crosswords and word search puzzles? Let's see.
As easy as ABC, isn't it?
Your task is:
1. Do the crossword as quickly as possible. Check your time. Who is the fastest in the class?
If you have difficulties, the answers to the crossword can be found in the word search puzzle.
/ to make it easier you will be given handouts /
2. Share answers with a partner and discuss differences. Tell your partner about your feelings while you were doing the crossword.
3. Write a paragraph in about 60 words to describe what your feelings were when you:
a/ read the instructions for the task,
b/ were doing the puzzle,
c/ were discussing with your partner.
Were you the fastest in doing the crossword and the word search puzzle?
Post you paragraph on our blog not later than Friday next week.

ReplyDeleteI felt board when I was reading the instructions but I was wrong.It was funny and it was like a race for me and my classmate Sami.He won but that dosn't matter we were having fun together.We didn't discuss it because we are extrasensers hahhaha.

ReplyDeleteI have been studying English for 11 years.
I feel happy when our teacher gives us crosswords.They are very fun.While doing crosswords I practice my English and learn some new words.I used to do crosswords almost every day a few years ago, I really got into the habit of doing the crossword or one of the crosswords in the paper we used to get every day.it's good to do crosswords because it makes you, well, it makes your brain work a bit more maybe than it usually does so it's good to keep, keep your brain cells alive.

ReplyDeleteI started to learn english went I was six years old.I like to work in group with many people because I want to listen more about the people why tolk and see his opinion.Group projects are also a great way to practice skills you're not so sure of. . And if you're a little nervous talking in front of a group, a joint project can help you become more comfortable with it.

ReplyDeleteWhen I read the instruction for me was like a competition, when i was doing the puzzle I was a little bit nervous because of the timing : )) but I became the first in the class.We did't make a discussion because we are extrasenses :D (just kidding)
